I have resisted this for so long, but have finally succumbed and here I am, running my own domain. It always seemed such a vanity, promoting your own "name" domain. It implies that you're only "Steve Maltz" important enough to be showcased on the Web. Mind you, the domain name had remained unused since the birth of the Web, so perhaps there are no other takers.
